What our name means

  • Dove: our area of ministry is mostly in Uttoxeter and the Dove Valley, though we work closely with churches and other organisations elsewhere
  • Evangelical: the Christianity we practise is based on belief in personal salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ and reliance on the Bible as the Word of God.
  • Free: although we have friendly links with many other churches and organisations, we are an independent fellowship, led by our elected Elders , not part of any denomination.
  • Church: we are a ‘church’ because we are a fellowship of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ – we are one of several churches in our area.
